Elizabeth Mary “Betty” WILSON

1939 – 2026

It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of Betty (Elizabeth Mary) Wilson, who died peacefully at home on Friday, 16 January 2026, aged 86.
With the wonderful care of the Palliative Care & Community nursing team, Betty’s wish to remain at home, surrounded by her family, was lovingly honoured.
Beloved wife of Ted Wilson (deceased).
Cherished mother and mother in law of Mark and Dorraine, and Rex and Lucy.
Much-loved grandma to Ashley and Ryan, Ethan, Olivia, May, Holly, Addie, and Clancy, and adored great-grandma to Ollie, Iggy, and Augie.
Daughter of Leslie and Dorothy, and step-daughter of Anne.
Loved sister of Ian (deceased) and Pat.
Sister-in-law and treasured family member to Geoff and Yvonne, Jack & Donna (deceased), Jo, Amanda, Adam, Damien, and their families.
The family will forever treasure the final days spent together — sharing memories, stories, laughter, and quiet moments of love.
A private cremation has been held.
Details of a memorial celebration in Orange will be shared in the coming days.
Betty will be remembered for her quiet strength, generosity of spirit, and deep love for her family.
