JANICE, beloved father of BLAKE and loving son of IVAN (USA).
The Relatives and Friends, Colleagues and Students of Mr MARK HINDERAKER are invited to attend and remember MARK at his Thanksgiving Wake to be held in the Cedar Room of John Hossack Funeral Services, 435 Wilson Street, Albury FRIDAY February 20th 2004 commencing at 11 am.

To Janice and Blake,
Mark and I grew up together in Culver City, California until his Father, Ivan Hinderaker, moved the family down to the Irvine Ranch, CA while he worked to staff UC Irvine back in the middle ’60s.
Mark and I learned to surf together at Huntington Beach, CA and Playa del Rey, CA and had a lot of shared fun together in the ’50s and early ’60s while in Elementary and Junior High School.
Mark decided to go Australia to avoid the Vietnam War draft and I respected his decision, though I spent six years in the USN and did two tours in Vietnam.
I wish that I could have seen him after I was honorably discharged from the USN and went back to school to finish my BS degree, but a trip to Australia was out of the question then.
I was very surprised to learn that he had pasted away as there are not many of us left from the gang in the old neighborhood in Culver City, CA and I may be the last one.
