Daughter of Herbert Edgar ANTCLIFFE and Florence Adelaide Antcliffe (Nee Donaldson).

You have been the best rose in my garden of life!

I am going to miss you terribly, BUT- I will be forever strong in the knowledge that I learnt from you, how to be gracious, kind and forgiving and to be forthright in everything and stand up for what I believe in.

While you were watching today, from your special place – You no doubt were proud to see your Girls come together once again, as a family unit to make a special celebration “Just for You”.    I know “I was”.

Now that your at rest, I will always remember you as the happy, loving and ever caring friend you were.

I hope you find your way to  Kathy , Stephen, Uncle Bert, Auntie Rita & Douglas, Auntie Lorna & Steve, Irene and Uncle Charlie and all the other members of your family before you.

 

May you enjoy an everlasting peace and be comfortable.

Dear Nan,

 

Thankyou for all the great memories but most of all thankyou for the legendary mark you left on the world,

as you would say “your girls”

I remember many times we spent together and you would tell me, “you know you could do worse than to learn from your Aunties”

and growing up I thought I had this remarkable family that helped each other, had fun together and were always there for you. You created that thanks Nan!

We often talked about how we could rule the world as a family, or at least a local shopping centre with the family talents combined! LOL

Well Mum, it has been some time sine we spoke.

I trust you are now at peace. I believe that Kathy would have been waiting for you with BIG open arms.Ans I believe she will be your guide as to what you Now need to do.!!!!!Sour Kathy will be ready and waiting with a warm smile(cheesy grin) and big loving arms to guide you to your place now.)

We are all soldiering on , “as you would have done.”

You have been a very big part of our world_  and we ALL miss you very much.

Today, I have posted the notices to the authorities that hold your worldly possessions.

Your Will, has been executed , as you wished.

Although I encountered a few snags,( possibly brought on by my vigour to ensure all was as you wished) We ( Eida & I ) have done everything needed to carry out your final wish.

I am sure that I can be a positive influence on “Your Girls” at least,

I promise,  I will try to be. So that everything you ever lived for – was not in vain!

On another note…..How is auntie Rita? Please say hello for me and give her a kiss….AND the other members of our family that you come in contact with.

Just to let you know what’s happening…..

as I know you liked to be kept up to date…

Kayla and Coral have their Formal coming up soon. (December 2008.)Year 10.

These two ladies will be the bell of the Ball!!!! Of course..as they are your Offspring and have your good nature and Great Looks!!!

They have BOTH got some lovely dresses to wear and we will ensure they arrive looking as they should and have a GREAT TIME!

They deserve it.. as they have worked HARD for this little reward.

Young Aiden has been awarded “the man of the match for his efforts with soccer” and …since it was his birthday recently(November)we met up with Amanda and Aiden at a Sporting equipment store and got his gear for Cricket for his birthday.

For this Xmas..young Jarryed, has asked if he can get some cricket gear…….as he too.is a sporting star..

These kids will be someone One Day!

You Know, ,,,,,,,it was lovely that Margaret Powe,  was able to bring young  Emily to your service.

AND

The people that commented on your service just made everything seem like it was as it should have been.!

I have even had a call from the funeral director, telling me that,,,

“It was ‘a beautiful ceremony’    especially,    with the home made brew tribute.(hope you enjoyed it?)

and it was a fitting  tribute to your life here on earth”

You have to be comfortable with that?

So many people came over to me and made a comment”that it was a lovely service” fitting and beautiful”

On another note—-back to earth…..

I am waiting for Dennis to get back from a business trip tonight, and I hope he has been successful. I promise, I will let you know how he has done.

More news….Kayla goes for her camp for end of year next week. She is going away to the south coast for a scuba diving experience for a week.. Isn’t that cool???Please relay (if Kathy isn’t reading over your shoulder) to her Mum…,she should be Sooooo Proud of her girl!!!

Dear mum,

I am sure you have been looking over my shoulder watching, but I thought I would drop you a line.

I miss you so much, and i thought i would have my mum forever, but I know that you are happy being with your mum & dada and the rest of your family .

I was out shopping yesterday and I saw several ladies with their mums, and I remembered our shopping days. There were a lot of lovely outfits that would have looked great on you, and I think I will always think how well that little number would suit you.

As you know this computer stuff is new to me and I’m sure you and co are having a great laugh at my tantrums, it is so bloody confusing, and I hope I can pick it up quickly with less stress, talking with you helps me to relax. Remember when you would say stop talking to yourself? And i would say that i was talking to the spirits, now you know my love.

Mum i look forward to our next chat on line.

Hi mum,

You are  so on my mind and i wish i could just hold you one more time.

I found a pom-pom tree just as you had  when  we  were little,so i brought it. I thought i would plant it in the garden near yoda, I think it would be nice their. Also your hydranga that died of, i replaced it with a white one, i`m sure you love it.

Keeping you up to date with the local news:

John and lorrane have moved in at long last. Mick and gloria went away for three weeks and all went well. Pats had a op on her leg and she is doing fine so far, i know you are watching over her recovery. Leal is still having problems , could you send him a little courage  please mum.

I hope you like your earthly resting place mum, we thought the puppies were cute. Once again i feel calmer just chating with you,i know you listen to me,just as you always have through out our lives.

Hi Mum,

Just a quick note to say I Love You.

It has been a long hard road getting to  Xmas this year with all that has happened, but the years are passing so much quicker than I have ever known.

I am looking forward to the kids visiting and having some quality time with all of them.

You know, they had planned to have a surprise Xmas with you as I had been so looking forward to a family reunion.

I guess your service at Lake Macquarie was just that!

I spoke to Richard the other week, and he said he thought your service was lovely, the best! For the best Aunt.

Kayla has had her Formal, it went well and she was the “Bell of the Ball” she is growing up so very quickly.

We saw Coral before her formal so we could take some photos and she looked like a Princess, although she wasn’t to be told that.

Tomorrow, young Aiden is going to his Farewell from primary school, and of course “Poppy” and his Ducati are going to be his escort and chauffer.

Den is off to a Big presentation this morning, which, if successful, will mean some much needed work and income for the new year. I hope he does well.

I am off to work now so I will catch up with you again soon.

Hi mum,merry christmas my love and to all the family with you.

Gra and I are spending christmas on a river up north as things would not be the same at home this year without you.

Being out here under the stars makes me feel closer to you, as i reckon the biggest star is you.

Can you give me a wink tonight so i know you are alright.

Christmas day we had bbq prawns,ham and salad. What did you guys have.

Today we are having roast turkey in the camp oven, it should be yum.

We have`nt caught any fish yet but have caught some shrimp and small yabbies which are good for bait.

Ros`s mum has had a massive stroke and is parrallised down one side and her recovery is not good.

I hope you liked your card I left behind for you .

Anyway mum ,time to pop the roast in,so i will say by for now.

Hello My Dear Mother.

Happy Newyear my dear and thanks for the wink, it makes the loss of you, for me that much easier, knowing you are alright.

Ros lost her mum today. I know you will help Lyn on her journey to her loved ones and I know ros is eased knowing that you are there for her mum.

Your wishes are now finalised my love , just as you asked.

Pat is still suffering with her leg operation and she will need more time off  work and possibly more surgery,so her spirits are low, although your gift may brighten her days.

The gardens are looking just lovely mum,and if you swing by, you will see the ones you loved at there best, and i know our garden will continue to flourish with you in it.

DEAR MUM.

HAPPY AUSTRALIA DAY MUM. ALLS GOOD AT HOME LOVE ALTHOUGH I HAVE MY WEEPY TIMES.

WE ARE GOING TO SUNSHINE FOR A PICNIC WITH THE NEIGHBOURS TODAY.THE WEATHER IS A BIT GLUM AT THE MOMENT BUT IT IS SAID TO PICK UP TO A LOVELY DAY.

MUM SOME OF THE ORCHIS ARE FLOWERING AND THE BERGONIAS ARE BEAUTIFUL AT THE MOMENT.IT IS LOVELY TO HAVE THESE LIVING FLOWERS TO PLACE ON YOUR MEMORIAL,IT GIVES ME SO MUCH PLEASURE ADORNIG YOUR PLACE OF REST.

MUM I HAD MY BREAST XRAY THE OTHER DAY. IT WAS A LITTLE UNCOMFORTABLE BUT NOT TO BAD, WILL GET THE RESULTS IN 2 WEEKS.

PAT SOUNDS A LITTLE BETTER,SHE IS GOING TO PHYSO AND IT IS HELPING WITH MOVEMENT IN HER LEG. SHE IS TO RETURN TO WORK IN FEB.

RE AND DEN MANAGED TO GET AWAY FOR A WEEKEND, THEY WENT DOWN THE COAST AND HAD A NICE TIME WITH THE DOGS.

GINA`S GUY TED,IS IN HOSPITAL,HE HAS AN ILLNESS THAT EFFECTS HIS LUNGS.HOPFULLY HE WILL RECOVER QUICKLY.

MUM ONE OF YOUR KOOABURRAS HAS JUST LANDE ON THE TABLE NEXT TO ME AND I GUESS HE WANTS ME TO SAY HI TO YOU,AND IM SURE HE WOULD LIKE A FEED.

WELL MY LOVE GRA HAS JUST MADE THE TEA POT SO I WILL SAY BUY FOR NOW DARLING. LOVE YOU AND MISS YOU HEAPS.
