  1. I have very fond memories of Betty from our school days & church fellowship together. Our lives took different paths but we reconnected about 30 years ago and kept in touch since. She was a wonderful person whom I am so privileged to have had as a
    lifelong friend.

Betty was a deeply loved and incredibly important part of the Dickie/McGovern family for many years. She was there through so much of our lives — offering quiet support, steady kindness, and a listening ear whenever it was needed. Betty had a beautiful way of making you feel safe, welcome, and cared for, without ever asking for anything in return. She shared in our milestones, our everyday moments, and the times when we simply needed comfort and reassurance. To us, she was family, and her presence shaped our lives in ways that will never be forgotten. Her warmth, generosity, and gentle strength will forever hold a special place in our hearts.
