My wife Jane and I have only just learned of Tony`s passing. The emails from Tony had dried up and so I googled his name and found this site. Our sincere condolences to Tony`s family in Newcastle.

We first met Tony on the maiden voyage of Queen Mary 2 in January 2004 when we were assigned to the same dining table. It was a table of friends of the Captain of the ship Commodore Ron Warwick. Tony`s knowledge of ships and the sea was immense and thereafter we met up with Tony on the maiden voyages of Queen Victoria and Queen Elizabeth. We live in Southampton, England and on occasions when he was on ships sailing out of Southampton he would stay with us before boarding the ship and on one occasion he entertained us for lunch on one of the Silversea ships.

We always enjoyed Tony`s company and will miss him enormously.
