Unfortunately we didn’t see enough of each other due to your various postings, you will be missed cuz.
My father always said you can tell how genuine a man is by his handshake and going on that you would be the most genuine person I’ve met.

  2. Farewell to you Douglas Bell and condolences to your many loved ones. We first met at Maccas playground in Dubbo in 2007 and I guess we chatted about life and somehow that started a correspondence spanning over 15 years. The last time we corresponded was 5 months ago, you wished my ‘team’ a merry Christmas. Sadly, I didn’t get to say goodbye though. I bought a tree in your memory on the weekend and I’ll plant it out at the farm soon, call it Doug and probably have a yarn to it now and then. I think you’d like that. Sending love to your family, you will be missed.

I’ve known Doug all my life, he was always there for advice and to help.

He was honestly the best godfather I could have ever asked for and a true inspiration to push through the tough times in live with kindness and grace, but also to do everything I can to help others.

Doug’s actions in life inspired me to take the career path I have to dedicate my life to the service of others just like he did. He’ll be terribly missed.
