Jocelyn A. WALLERICH  (nee Horton)

Jocelyn was born December 23, 1927 in Kurri Kurri, NSW and attended school in Newcastle. Following her marriage to the late James Johnson, on June 1, 1946, she became a naturalised citizen of the United States. She was a resident of Hinsdale, IL and formerly lived in Naples, FL.



Loving mother of Nancy Meaden, James Johnson Jr., Sally Harvey and Peter Johnson. Devoted grandmother of Dane and Jason Power, Benjamin and Lindsey Johnson, Elizabeth and Molly Harvey, Jameson and Zachary Johnson. Great-grandmother of Halie and Mackenzie Power. Her parents Hilda M.K. Berney and William N. Horton preceded her in death. Private interment, at Bronswood Cemetery Oak Brook, IL, followed the Funeral Service held Thursday May 13, 2010 at Grace Episcopal Church 120 E. First St. Hinsdale, IL.
Jocelyn took pleasure in gardening, swimming and playing tennis. She was an avid supporter of the arts and devoted much of her time to being an advocate for disabled people`s rights.
