TERRY and DONNA invited Family and Friends to the graveside Service of their beloved son SLADE, held at Wallsend Cemetery, on Wednesday 13/12/06.

In all of us we carry a different Slade in our heart of hearts, It only took a smile, a nod of the head or a hug to make a moment of Slade’s life unique to you and you alone.
We remember Slade, who would burst through the door like a tornado and want nothing more then a good feed of KFC and a video or two, while munching away. The Sladie who always asked “would any one like a cuppa?” at least ten times a day, we were Coles profit margin in tea bags when he was with us.
We had the joy of having Slade as part of our family, so much so that he and his brothers are considered son’s to us and a brother to Adam. The memories we cherish are the many Christmas’s, the holidays, the phone calls from Slade asking “Aunty Di” can you come and pick us up for the weekend” (which we did) and above all, the way he and his brothers interacted with each other as only brothers can. This is the Slade we have known from a youngster to the last time he was with us.
Slade possessed a cheeky grin that seemed to take all our cares and woe’s away. He was a real larrikin. We will remember his laughter, his keen sense of wit that touched our souls and the twinkle in his eyes that was a wonder to behold.
This is the Slade that Dianne, Adam and I will always carry with us.
Donna and the boys complete our family.
