    Tears for fears,
    trials, tribulations and celebrations,

To be absent from the Body is to be present with the Lord If you have made your peace and your a believer.

I would like to thank all family and friends that are here today, not only to celebrate the life and good times of My Brother, but also to ponder the thought of heartache, disappointment, frustrations, setbacks anxieties but also the Black Dog Institute of mental health that seem to run rampant in a lot of men these days.

Just like everyone sitting in this congregation today and also listening on the live stream , there is no words, ..
it is a fucking disaster however you decide to look at it.

There are a lot of people that are going to have their moments of processing the grief and heartbrokenness throughout this time including myself .

As a lot of you know Michael was only a stone throw away from retirement.
He was making arrangements for a Meetup motorbike ride halfway between Brisbane and Sydney with his mates, …some that are sitting here today .

He also had a motorcycle tour of Tasmania booked n planned for February And other retirement plans.

And All that’s changed now .

I will only ever have the fondest of fondest memories of My Brother ,

He was always known to be extremely disciplined in his work ethics, always willing to offer a helping hand n assist others and go the extra mile, not only in his work life but also his family and complete strqngers .

He Did his best as a Father, was a great mate to all his work colleagues and his riding bros … –
and was always the best and brother for me .

He even allowed me to beat him on the race track occasionally, so I’ll be keeping his Racing leathers next to mine in remembrance.

He will be extremely missed, always loved cherished and his memories will live on for a lifetime.

His legacy is his Friendship to others.

You’re notice some of us have our finger nails painted black, that’s because for whatever reason is was part of his personality trait or possibly him setting a fashion trend. .

His birthday is April 13th and his passing was November 17th .

In remembrance on these 2 days I may paint my thumb nails again on these days and also it could be the beginning of the black thumb project, starting a conversation for men’s suicide prevention awareness.

Again , His legacy was and will always continue to be his friendship to others .

This Xmas , please love n value your family n friends and I Thankyou all for sharing this moment together..
