Doug,
You had a heart bigger than most. Your commitment to your family, particularly Zach was evident in every interaction. Right down to the last day’s, they always came first.Danielle,
You, Zach and the family are in my peayers. May Gods hand be evident to you as you mourn and may you feel the presence of his people as they crowd around in support.
You are all in my prayers. -
The funeral was a wonderful tribute to an amazing man and a well lived life. He gave so much, most of all the light of Jesus that shone out through Doug in everything he did.
He will be missed. -
We are privileged to have been related to such an amazing human being.
Your kindness, compassion and great sense of humour will be greatly missed by all, and especially Danielle, Stephanie, James and Zac.
Rest in peace my cousin.

It has been an honour to get to know you and journey alongside you all, Danielle, Doug and Zach, since you moved to Maitland. We will miss Doug’s inspirational positivity and fun loving nature. We continue to surround you with love and prayers.

I’ve known Doug for my whole life. He was an inspiration to me. He was always there for a chat and to lend a hand at a moments notice. It’ll be weird without you here. You’ll be truly missed.
