Beloved husband of JUDITH, much loved father and father-in-law of ANDREW and CARRIE, MATTHEW and JO, adored pa of TRAVIS and PHOEBE. Loving son of DAVID (dec`d) and ELAINE, loved brother, brother-in-law and uncle to PETER and FAMILY.
Aged 62 Years
Family and Friends were warmly invited to attend a Celebration of GEOFF`s Life on WEDNESDAY 7th March 2012, in the James Murray Funeral Chapel, Blackall Street Broadmeadow commencing at 10.00am. This Service was followed by a private cremation.
The Family would like to extend a special Thank You to all the Staff at the Calvary Mater Hospice for all their love and care given to GEOFF.

I have just heard of Geoff’s passing. We were neighbours and mates from the early 1950’s until my marriage in 1970. I still have a photo of you and Geoff at our wedding. I know it has been some time since we saw each other but I remember vividly our gathering at our home in Canberra in the early 90’s and my conversation with Geoff after he was diagnosed with his medical problem. It was a couple of years ago and we had a great conversation for almost an hour. He spoke about his desire to buy a less demanding craft (trading in the yacht for something a little more comfortable) and his love of the property at Bulga. Above all he was extremely positive about the future. Please pass on our condolences to Mrs Brown (at the age of nearly 65 I still cannot call her Elaine), to Peter and his family and of cause to you, your boys and their families.
