Passed away peacefully surrounded by loving family and friends, 5th November 2013
Aged 41 Years

Dearly loved husband of KYLIE. Devoted dad of TOM and SAM. Loved son of LORRAINE and PHILLIP (dec´d). Cherished brother of SALLY and nephew of SUE MEYERS. Loved son-in-law, brother-in-law and uncle of JILL and PETER LANG and their FAMILY.

A dedicated teacher and friend.

MICHAEL`s Relatives and Friends were warmly invited to Celebrate his Life at Newcastle City Hall, King St, Newcastle on TUESDAY 12/11/2013. The Service commenced at 10:00am.

MICHAEL´s Family Thank the wonderful Oncology staff at Newcastle Private Hospital who made a difficult time very special.

In lieu of flowers, donations to Hunter Medical Research Institute may be made in Michael`s name go to http://www.hmri.com.au/ for information on donating.

Sending our sincere condolences to Mr Cowling`s friends & family and also thinking of the students & staff of West Wallsend High School on this day and we also apologise for not being able to attend today.
