I am so sorry to hear about Caryn`s passing. Such a beautiful young star whom i held very close to my heart. Whenever i picture Caryn in my mind its always with a big smile. She was friends with all. Who could resist her. She was always there for me as a friend. And i had so many good times with her, in Australia, at school, in London… I cannot unfortunately attend the funeral. But my thoughts, prayers and love will be with you all… I love you Caryn. Love, Mel De Leon.

To Caryns family, it is with sadness that I write to you all after learning of Caryns passing. You are in my thoughts and while I am sure you all know how wonderful Caryn was yourselves, I wanted to let you know that she was wonderful to others including myself, also. I knew Caryn in Brisbane and found her full of laughter and one of the best of women. She will be missed and grieved for. Words will never serve to comfort at this time so I hope there will be memories abundant until the pain eases and words again will soothe. I cannot attend the funeral but will be thinking of you all and sending love from a distance.
