I don’t cry like I thought I would. You have discarded your weary, unwell body, for your eternal, ‘long lasting’ one, so I can’t be sad. I WILL miss YOU – and there will be many times I am sure, when I will start to say “ Dad…..”  but I am so very excited when I think of what you are doing now.    JO

Dad was known by most as Tom. His family always knew we were loved by both him and our precious mum. Together they faced many tough times but God triumphed in them all. God was the very centre of all our thinking  and Dad set a steady example. I so look forward to reuniting with him in heaven when it is my turn to be called home.

Like Jo I have yet to weep buckets but I confess that my bucket is almost at spill point most of the time. How can one be sad that Dad is well and happy. I am sad for me and the rest of us left behind, especially our wonderful courageous beautiful mum.

Love Diana

My Grandpa, I thank you for giving me the most important inheritance of all – a strong Christian heritage, a wonderful loving family, knowledge of my history, a love for word play and a great friend. I`m so very proud of you. I`m thankful that you are now with the Saviour you love so much. I miss you heaps. Love you lots, Gail
